If you successfully apply for a Surrey High Sheriff Youth Award, your project could win even more cash – from National Crimebeat.

Once a year, the High Sheriff picks the very best example of young people working to reduce crime and create a safer community, from all the projects that receive High Sheriff Youth Awards.

This top Surrey scheme is entered for the National Crimebeat Awards. The three winning entries receive £1,000 (1st), £750 (2nd) and £500 (3rd) to spend on building their projects. The prize money is donated by Crimestoppers.

Surrey projects have been voted national champions once in this competition, twice won second prize, and twice been highly commended, against teams from across the UK.

In the future, it could be your scheme that wins as much as £1,000 from National Crimebeat. The first step is to apply for your High Sheriff Youth Award in Surrey: click here or email applications@surreyhighsheriff.org
