Past Awards:
Little Shrubs Gardening Club
Set up to encourage young people aged 4 to 14 years to look after their estate in Guildford and give them a sense of community pride, Little Shrubs Gardening Club (members competed for the best name) meets fortnightly after school to collect litter, clear weeds and plant shrubs. An allotment is also planned and each member is given a high-viz jacket, pot, plants and watering can, and encouraged to care for their environment.
