Lady Toulson, High Sheriff of Surrey 2009-2010, is reminding young people that bad debt = bad news. She’s using posters and flyers to encourage the county’s schools, youth groups and youth projects to apply to the High Sheriff Youth Awards scheme for funding.

“We may be able to give you a grant for a session of financial guidance on how to balance your books,” she suggests. “That way you can keep out of debt and keep out of trouble.”
