That includes protecting wildlife with friendly plantings, carrying out conservation tasks in the area, and managing waste and water and energy and climate change. Run in the 'gap' between 4 and 6 pm - identified as a time of increased petty crime after school - those taking part are encouraged to spread the word in school about the care and protection of our environment. It won £250 from the High Sheriff Youth Award.
